NWMCIO December Newsletter
These have been a remarkably busy few months over which the NWMCIO have achieved the following:
- New Constitution
- Member Register
- New Website
- Improvements to the Hall including WiFi and decorating
- Legal representation
- Financial representation
- Key documents centralised
- Improved communications
All this hard work has brought the Trust into the 21st century and made it easier to manage. This makes it very much easier for future Trustees from the village to join, understand and contribute. They will have access to experts, access to information and understand how the CIO works.
This is the foundation for taking our community forward.
The NWMCIO has been working hard to provide a clear, well communicated plan for sharing with our community in order to direct it in its future direction. The final decision will be down to the registered members of the CIO. If you want your say please register now through our website https://www.nutley-war-memorial-hall.co.uk/ If you have problems registering please contact us at the hall.
The plan is broken down into 4 clear phases:
- Phase 1 Valuation
- Phase 2 Develop Study
- Phase 3 Consult
- Phase 4 Vote
All details of the project and it's progress can be viewed at https://www.nutley-war-memorial-hall.co.uk/nwmcio_strategy.asp . We aim to make the project as transparent as we can so access to all associated documents will be available.
The plan will finish with a vote of registered members. The vote will be managed by an independent body. The result will provide a consensual direction which the trustees will take.
The site also has a Question and Answer section in order to try and prevent all the misinformation that has dogged the Trust for so long.
Five vacancies for Trustees will become free on the NWMCIO from the 31st March 2021. This is your chance to become part of an exciting future of the village and have your say and be part of key decisions. The organisation requires members from all over our community to support it. The only criteria for being a Trustee is that you are over 18 years of age and are a registered member of the NWMCIO. If you are interested in becoming a trustee of this organisation, please feel free to contact us through our website and we will get back to you.
